The listing fees for fabricator/manufacturer and quality assurance agencies are as follows:
(A) Fabricator/Manufacturer. The fee for the initial listing of a fabricator/manufacturer by the building official shall be six hundred fifty dollars. The fee for annual renewal shall be four hundred fifty dollars. Failure to pay a listing fee within forty-five days of the expiration date of the listing will result in removal from the approved list. Re-application for listing shall be treated as a new application. Listing fees may be waived for a recognized fabricator/manufacturer.
The fee for a one-time permit-specific approval of a fabricator/manufacturer by the building official shall be three hundred dollars.
(B) Quality assurance agency, designated residential inspector, special inspector listing, and other fees shall be as follows:
(1) The fee for initial listing of a quality assurance agency by the building official shall be six hundred dollars.
(a) The fee for annual renewal shall be three hundred fifty dollars.
(b) The fee for initial listing of a satellite office of an approved quality assurance agency shall be two hundred dollars. The fee for annual renewal shall be one hundred fifty dollars.
(c) The fees for pre-approval audit of an agency’s facility or equipment shall be an hourly basis with a four hour minimum fee.
(d) The fee for a one-time permit-specific approval of an agency to perform special inspection activities shall be seventy-five dollars. An agency is allowed a single one-time approval, after which the agency must apply for initial listing as a quality assurance agency with the building official.
(2) The fee for initial listing of special inspection personnel, residential inspection personnel or a fabrication shop inspector is thirty-five dollars.
(a) The fee for processing additional approval requests for special inspection personnel or a fabrication shop inspector is thirty-five dollars due at time of request.
(b) The fee for annual renewal is thirty-five dollars per listed inspector. This fee is processed during the annual renewal of the agency.
(3) The review of quality system manual (QSM) revisions outside of the annual renewal period shall be an hourly basis with a two-hour minimum fee.
(4) The fee for processing approval requests in accordance with Section 22.02.500(C) shall be an hourly basis with a one-hour minimum fee.
(5) The fee for each earthwork construction program examination, administered by CCDDS-BD, shall be charged at an hourly rate per Table 3-I with a two hour minimum charge. The minimum fee is due at the time of the request.
(6) Failure to pay a listing fee within forty-five days of the expiration date of the listing will result in removal from the approved list. Re-application for listing shall be treated as a new application. Listing fees may be waived for recognized agencies.
(C) Quality Systems Auditor. The fee for the initial listing of a quality systems auditor by the building official shall be thirty-five dollars per listed person. The fee for annual renewal shall be thirty-five dollars per listed person. Quality systems auditor listing fees may be waived for persons listed as a special inspector in accordance with Section 22.02.385(B). (Ord. 3618 § 2 (part), 2008)
