All permits regulated by Title 22 and Title 25 shall be issued only to contractors who hold a valid and active Nevada State Contractors License covering the scope of work authorized by the permit and who hold a valid and active Clark County business license as required by Title 6 of the Clark County Code.
Plumbing, electrical, and mechanical permits will be issued only to properly licensed specialty contractors who hold a valid and active C-1, C-2 or C-21 license issued by the state of Nevada authorizing the appropriate scope of work covered by the permit.
Exception: The requirements of this section do not apply to persons who are exempted pursuant to Nevada Revised Statutes 624.031 or by Section 22.02.265 of this chapter. (Ord. 3618 § 2 (part), 2008)
