22.02.160 Violations.

It shall be unlawful for any person to erect, construct, enlarge, alter, repair, move, improve, remove, convert, demolish, equip, use, occupy or maintain any building, ATS, structure or building service equipment or cause or permit the same to be done in violation of this chapter or the technical codes.
Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and each such person shall be deemed guilty of a separate offense for each and every day or portion thereof during which any violation of any of the provisions of this chapter is committed, continued, or permitted, and upon conviction of any such violation, such person shall be punishable by a fine of not more than one thousand dollars, or by imprisonment for not more than six months, or by both such fine and imprisonment. Whenever in this chapter any act is prohibited or is made or declared to be unlawful or an offense or a misdemeanor, the doing of any such act shall constitute a violation of this chapter. Any day of any violation of this chapter shall constitute a separate offense. (Ord. 3618 § 2 (part), 2008)
