22.02.060 Moved buildings.

Buildings or structures moved into or within Clark County shall comply with the provisions of the technical codes for new buildings or structures. Required permits are to be obtained prior to demolition/removal and relocation of a building or structure to a new site.
(A) Requirements for Demolition Site. The owner is responsible to properly disconnect all utility services from the site of a moved building and remove any debris or building materials from the site on which the building stood. For this work, the owner shall obtain a demolition permit in accordance with this chapter. Modular components may be determined as exempt from this requirement if the building official determines that they do not represent a significant portion of a completed building or structure.
(B) Requirements for New Site. At the new site for the moved buildings, all work including construction of the foundation, installation of site utilities, site development and additions, alterations or repairs made to the building or structure shall require a permit application, construction document approval and permit issuance. Such work shall be inspected and obtain approval prior to use or occupancy of the building or structure in accordance with this chapter and the technical codes. (Ord. 3618 § 2 (part), 2008)
