Building, electrical, mechanical, plumbing and zoning inspectors and the immediate superior officer of said inspectors of the department of building are authorized to prepare, sign and serve misdemeanor citations, pursuant to NRS Chapter 171, to enforce the provisions of Titles 22, 23, 24, 25, 27, 28 and 29 of this Code, and shall diligently prosecute the violation thereof.
