A “package beer license” permits the sale of beer in un-opened original containers for off-premises consumption only. A package beer license may be granted only to a convenience store, tavern, main bar (except when issued in conjunction with a live entertainment venue), full bar when issued in conjunction with a regional commercial retail mall, resort hotel, liquor store, grocery store, drug store or gift shop.
